I was born in Lübeck a hanseatic city near the Baltic sea in Germany. I grew up in Stockelsdorf a neighboring town. In the fall of 1995 I came to the States to spend a year or two abroad. Little did I know that I would meet Connie here.
After finishing my postdoc at Syracuse University in December 2004 I worked at Michigan Tech for a couple of month. Since July 2005 I'm doing a postdoc at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. If you interested, find out a more about my research.
